1. Place the tissue paper on top of the desert silhouette image and trace it with a pencil. Set aside.
2. Begin painting on your sunset starting with What A Yolk. Start by painting horizontally, 2” up from the bottom of the plate, moving a large brush back and forth in the same direction.
3. While the yellow is still wet, begin painting on Orange Crush, blending it into the yellow. Continue this technique on with Arizona Sun and Bouncin’ Berry, blending each paint colour into the next.
4. Once dry, place the tissue paper onto the plate and trace the image using a sharpie. The sharpie will bleed through onto the pottery and create a template and burn off during firing.
5. Paint in the desert silhouette template using Black Lab, 2-3 times.
6. Using the back of a brush and Polar Bear, dot on stars in the Bouncin’ Berry portion of the sky. Be sure to sign your masterpiece!
