1. Paint the entire plate using a large brush and Rockin’ Red paint.
2. Be sure to do 2 to 3 layers for a solid colour.
3. Using a ruler, section out your plaid sections.
4. Mark the solid black squares and paint them in. 1-2 coats will do.
5. Using a liner brush, paint the squares around each solid black square with Black Lab vertical lines.
