Teen Technique Night: Painting & Air Plants

Teens (ages 12-17), this one is for you!

Practise your painting skills and learn some new techniques on the most adorable whale planter.

These wee planters are PERFECT for an air plant. What’s that, you ask? Deborah from Garden Moods will introduce you to the unique Tillandsia plant, including how to plant and tips for ongoing care. As part of the event, you will get your own air plant to take home at the end of the session, ready to go in your finished planter, once it’s ready for pick-up within two days.

Class price includes the pottery piece, supplies and full supervision, as well as glazing and kiln firing of the pottery piece. Registered painters will also receive one air plant and materials to plant it in your pottery piece. Light snacks and refreshments also included.

All our events follow the latest requirements and regulations related to responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. In the event the class is cancelled due to low registration (less than six), the credit will stay on your account for use at another time.
