Trading Faces Art Tiles
Create fabulous team portrait tiles together. Each team member will take part in creating their co-workers’ faces, adding facial features as tiles are passed around the table. - Upon arrival, pottery pieces and painting supplies will be set up and ready to go! A team member will walk you through the painting process and provide any tips and tricks as needed.
- Your team can sit and enjoy some relaxed, creative time. We focus on "fun art" not fine art, so anything goes!
- Painted pieces will be left at the studio to be professionally glazed and kiln-fired to a bright, shiny food-safe finish.
- Once fired and packaged, pieces are ready for pick up and to be treasured forever!
- How long is a booking? Bookings are 90 minutes long. Additional time can be booked, please ask for details.
- How long until our pieces are ready? Kiln-fired pottery pieces available for pickup within 24-36 hours
- Do you offer shipping? Yes! Let us pack-up all the pieces and send them home for you. Ask about pricing.
- How many people can you accommodate in your studio? Our studio can host up to 50 people at one time. We can always discuss doing something outside of our regular studio hours, depending on numbers and the itinerary for the conference. Ask about pricing on an after hours event.
- Can you accommodate groups of 50+? Larger groups such can be broken up into multiple sessions or we can come to you! We’re happy to discuss timing and scheduling.
- Can you come on-site to our conference/event? Absolutely! We bring the supplies (including paints, brushes, etc.) and pieces to your location, and can stay onsite to facilitate the session and assist with clean-up. We can also leave a Paint to Go kit with you to use, and then return to pick everything up. The pieces are always fired back at the studio and we can discuss return delivery or pick-up at our studio in The Shops of Canmore.
- Do you offer anything for Spouse & Children in town during the conference? We would be happy to provide an informational Crock A Doodle postcard for your welcome package, and Doodle Dollars ($5 off each piece] for family and friends who are visiting Canmore/Banff/Lake Louise too and looking for something to do while their partner/parent are at the conference.
- Are you licensed? No, but you can get a special events license for hosting the event. Many groups decide to finish their activity at one of the local restaurants.
